You Could Be A Hologram Character.
In the course of my discussion of hologram programs and characters with my parents after watching a Star Trek Voyager episode, the following (or, if not verbatim, at least the gist of the following) ensued:
Me: It makes me feel bad for all of the poor hologram characters. They think they're real people.
Dad: What makes you think you're real? You could be a hologram too.
Guess that's what I get for having a philosophy professor as a dad. You have to be careful what you say, or you'll be forced to question your own reality. That's metaphysics for you.
